Help with Bandito’s Medical Costs

Hello. Many of you are already aware of Bandito’s situation but for any who aren’t, my cat Bandito started having these odd episodes of foaming at the mouth and drooling on Sunday afternoon. After his third one, I called a vet who said it was likely just nausea and to continue monitoring him.
Monday, these episodes became more and more frequent, about every 5-10 minutes. We rushed to the emergency vet where we were told that these were focal seizures and we started him on Gabapentin.
At first, they seemed to greatly improve and throughout Tuesday, they were very mild and short and we were on the road to recovery.
Then Wednesday morning when I woke up, he was having a pretty bad seizure and wasn’t coming out of it. He was very aggressive and hostile toward me, which if anyone has met him, you’d know he’s incredibly friendly and loving even toward complete strangers. We went back to the vet where multiple techs had to hold him down with a towel and attempt multiple times to sedate him.
He’s now hospitalized as they attempt to help his insanely high fever and stabilize his condition. We’re running additional bloodwork to see if we can find a resolution or even just some closure about his sudden decline. It’s possible he will not recover from having that high of a fever.
Any funds raised will be used to pay for vet bills, testing, and if needed, euthanasia and memorial services. Please don’t feel pressured to donate, I know a lot of us are pretty tight on cash these days and have to set aside money to take care of our own pets. Thank you for reading.
