Helping Blind or VI Dogs Move with Sensory Guides
Donation protected
When Alli was seven months old, I rescued her from a local shelter. We instantly bonded and became inseparable. Six years later, Alli was diagnosed with glaucoma and went completely blind within the year.
Prior to her blindness, Alli zipped up and down the car ramp with ease, but blindness suddenly made her fearful. I realized I could help her, and other blind, visually-impaired, or elderly dogs, by creating guides for pet ramps/stairs (patent pending).
Because this is an expensive process, I am fundraising for the remainder of the costs to pay for official "Patent" status. My patent attorney estimated these costs to be approximately $10,000.00. If money from GoFundMe remains after the patent process has been completed, I am donating these funds to Gateway Humane Society, PA, where Alli lived prior to adoption, and to Tri-County Animal Rescue Center, PA, where I adopted her best friends Zoey and Mojo. These funds will be used for any medical care necessary for the shelters' homeless animals.
Please donate to this cause and share my campaign with your friends and family who are concerned with animal welfare. This patent-pending guide will help disabled pets be more confident, happy, and safe!
