Support for Brenda Welch
On Sunday, Nov. 16, Brenda Welch was found critically burned and severely beaten in her ex-husband’s Lynnwood home. When firefighters arrived to the burning home, they found Welch laying in a pool of blood with multiple traumatic head wounds and smelling of gasoline. Her ex-husband, David Z. Morgan, was also found in the home with minor injuries, and has since been arrested for second-degree attempted murder and first-degree arson. Police report there is overwhelming evidence suggesting Morgan was responsible for setting the house on fire and injuring Welch. Read the full story here.
Welch is currently in the hospital in critical condition for a skull fracture, third-degree burns and other critical injuries. However, now without an income, when Welch recovers she and her family, including three daughters, will face skyrocketing medical bills.
To help Brenda and her family offset these costs and focus on healing, friends and family, who stress that Welch is a kind, loving person and great mother, has set up this fund for donations. Please help Welch recover from this horrific act of domestic violence by donating today.
