Help Deputy Johnson with house fire
Donation protected
I am the owner of Heartland Roofing and Exteriors and a reserve deputy investigator at the Canadian County Sheriffs Office in Canadian County Oklahoma.
My long time friend and collegue, Sgt. and K9 Deputy Kevin Johnson is in need. On November 3rd 2015 Kevin's wife was cooking chicken and some grease boiled over and created a grease fire in the kitchen in their Oklahoma City home. She attempted to put the fire out and recieved sime minor burns and smoke inhalation. She is doing fine now. The fire spread but fortunately the fire department responded quickly and was able to put the fire out, but not before it destroyed their refrigator, washer and dryer and microwave. The water used to put the fire out damaged other items of furniture and personal belongings. All of their clothing will have to be cleaned due to the smoke that filled the entire house. To add stress to their family's situation Kevin's mom is hospitalized and is scheduled to undergo a quintuple bypass in the next few days
The Johnsons rent the house and had no renters insurance, so this is a financial burden that seems insurmountable to them. They will need to find another rent house in the PC North School district, and move all of their belongings and clean them.
Kevin comes from a family of law enforcement officers, and has devoted over 32 years of service to both the citizens of Oklahoma and Canadian County. He and his family have given selflessly to the citizens all those years. This is a chance to give back to one of our heroes and help him and his family. I can tell you from personal experience that it is difficult to make it with a family on law enfircement pay, much less to be able to pay for something like this that is going to cost him thousands of dollars. Please give what you can to help a hero. Thanks
