Guida's Hope

We are trying to raise money for our beautiful friend Guida.  She has fought so bravely to beat this monster called Cancer and now she needs your help to keep fighting. 

4 years ago Guida was diagnosed with Ductal Carcinoma Breast Cancer.

During those 4 years Guida has undergone 23 rounds of chemo, 50 radiation sessions, a double mastectomy and 3 additional surgeries, but the most devistating blow came when she was diagnosed with a second very rare form of cancer called Inflammatory Breast Cancer. The odds were stacked against her. 

It is our belief that Guida has defied these odds only because of her unwavering desire to live to see her 2 beautiful daughters get married and have children of their own.

Surviving this horrible disease has not been easy. Guida has worked hard to try and cleanse her body of toxins, trying many different diets and alternative medicines in hopes of helping her body fight. Although she would never tell you (because she's not one to complain) Guida suffers with daily pain, a pain so excruciating that most traditional pain medications do nothing to dull it.

Medical professionals have advised Guida to just throw in the towel and set herself up for palliative care, but that's not an option for our brave friend.

This is where you come in.  Guida has found a clinic in California that is sucessful in treating patients with her cancer, but as with most treatments outside of Canada, it comes at a high price.

We need everyone's help to come up with the funds so that our beautiful friend can enjoy the incredible light that she brings into our lives everyday.

Ask anybody who knows her, Guida is an angel, it takes about 2 minutes of talking to her to realize this.

Call us selfish, but we are not ready to give her back to the heavens just yet.
