The Heritage Institute of Arts & Technology (HIAT) will focus on performing and creative art instruction infused with an extraordinary use and application of modern technology. HIAT is designed to meet the needs of all children and their parents’ dreams. By technological design, the school program will reflect for students the strengths of their heritage and create many ways for them to express themselves and to excel.
HIAT will be anchored with extremely committed and motivated professional staff, governing board, Working Board, Advisory Board, Collegiate Mentoring Board, Auxiliary Board and parents who reflect the vibrant culture of the school. The atmosphere will be charged with love of the students, along with teachers who love the great reward of working with them in the classroom. The instructional team of HIAT will diligently work to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our students and encourage them to be strong intellectuals with moral and environmentally conscious values.

It is HIAT's mission to Develop 21st century scholars into innovative college and career ready world problem solvers. The vision began in 2010 to create a school which would enable students to re-capture their passion for learning inclusive of Arts and Technology programs.
You can help HIAT's scholars by pledging to purchase items from our wish list or by making general donations that will allow renovations to optimize space to accomodate our students' desires to study dance and instrumental music.
