Helping Andrew Lewis

Andrew Lewis has been hurt very badly and can't work due to the head injury he has sustained.
He went to his local newsagents in Kingsgate where he regularly goes; when he went in there were a couple of blokes having a go at the newsagent because he wouldn’t give them cash back. Andrew told them to back off and leave the newsagent alone. The blokes left, Andrew got his tobacco, stepped out of the shop and they sucker punched him in the back of the head. He fell to the floor and they kicked/stamped on his face. The newsagent called the police but by the time they got there the blokes had gone and Andrew was coming to. He told the police he was fine and drove home. At home, he was violently sick a few times and then passed out in bed for pretty much 24hrs until he was found by his ex partner, who phoned an ambulance straight away.
At hospital they diagnosed a fractured skull, a bleed on the brain and his jaw broken in 2 places (snapped in half at one point) he had to have it pinned.
He is home now after being in hospital for 7 days. He is v weak as can only eat mushy food. He is in agony and finding it difficult to come to terms with. At the moment he isn’t ‘Andrew’ it’s hard to explain but perfectly normal after a horrific head injury.
Andrew needs support from his friends and family by being there for him to help with day to day stuff, but he also needs financial help as he cannot work. Every little bit can help - we have set a target of £1000 but any amount would be amazing to help.
