Jason Taylor Medical Illness Fund

On September 5th, 2013 the Taylor's lives changed. Jason was admitted into the hospital for pancreatitis. Over the next few days his condition got worse and the doctors stated that his pancreas was dying and spreading infection in some of his other organs. He had his first surgery and they removed 80% of his pancreas, gallbladder and spleen. His condition did not get better and he began to bleed internally. They found 2 holes in his stomach and part of his colon. They removed 50% of his colon during that surgery. His condition did not get any better and he had to be placed on a ventilator. He had to have 3 more surgeries and 6 different procedures. He was in ICU for 31 days and a regular room for 29 days where he received some rehab. After coming home he was taken back to the hospital for an infection in his intestines. He is now at home with home health nurses coming in and helping with some of the care. He is improving daily and has another upcoming surgery that will be in March or April. He is able to get out of the house but is not able to work or provide for his family. Jason was the sole provider for this family and has applied for disability but they were told it could be up to 3 months before he could hear back. At the present time this family has no income and Jason has a long road ahead of him in his recovery. Thank you for any help that you can give this family during this time to help with their household bills, medicines, gas and medical bills.

Prayers are always welcome and greatly appreciated.

Thank you from the family and friends of The Taylor Family!
