Helping the Caneiro Family

The tragedy that struck Colts Neck and Ocean Township New Jersey has been heartbreaking for the Caneiro family and relatives. Many of you have seen the horrific photos of the houses blazing in fire and have heard about the tragic events that took place with Keith, Jen, Jesse, and Sophia Caneiro, may they Rest In Peace. What you have not heard about is the state that the rest of the family has been left in as a result of this tragedy. The surviving Ocean Township Caneiro family (including Katie and her family) have incurred extensive fire damages to their house, and can use donations for daily living expenses, as they do not have access to live in their house. As Katie Caneiro’s best friends from college/home, we have watched over the years as the family helped care for the children, had joy filled holidays, and attended exciting milestones and school events with Keith, Jen, Jesse, and Sophia. As this has left a deep impact on close friends and the community, we are asking as their very dear friends for your help. What we can do on our own will not be enough to help them try and rebuild their lives, which will already be a long and painful process. The pain they are currently suffering is unimaginable.
