Medical Mission Trip to Cusco, Peru

I'm planning to attend a MEDICAL MISSION TRIP to Cusco, Peru from March17th-25th with an organization called MEDLIFE. While there, we will be VOLUNTEERING to help medical/dental professionals in MOBILE CLINICS set up in areas of the city where the people cannot afford or do not have access to proper MEDICAL/DENTAL CARE due to the mountainous terrain they reside in. Later in the week we'll also be working on a project that includes either BUILDING A HOUSE for a family there or BUILDING STAIRCASES to allow access to electricity for the Peruvians living in a region that makes it otherwise difficult.

In addition, as most of my friends and family know, I'm working on applying for medical school. This trip would be a great way to PAY IT FORWARD, as well as valuable experience for me as a FUTURE MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL.

Here's what you're paying for:

$815- Participation fee (includes meals, in-country transportation, and lodging during the Volunteer Trip, It also provides for expenses such as hiring of doctors and nurses, purchase of medicine and equipment, etc., operating cost of MEDLIFE org).

$565- Plane ticket to Cusco, Peru

$120- Vaccinations, transportation to airports, etc. (anything for prep of trip)

Any other expenses incurred outside of the trip, I will be taking responsibility for. :)
