Funds for the WSU Bears’ Future

Donation protected

The grizzly bear (Ursus arctos horribilis) has been listed as “Threatened” since 1975 with very little sign of sustainable recovery throughout the remaining populations. Although Washington State University is the “home of the Cougars” it is also home to eleven beautiful grizzlies that have been the integral part of the research at the WSU Grizzly Bear Research, Education, and Conservation Center. The research advances provide further understanding and aid to wildlife ecology, nutrition, and large carnivore conservation sciences worldwide!

Unfortunately, the current facility is far too small to be able to offer them the space to live with a high degree of animal welfare services. We began as volunteers and now focus our efforts alongside WSU as students willing to do anything to raise the money for the construction of a new facility that sufficiently meets the needs of these majestic grizzly bears.

It is going to be a long journey but with everyone's help, we can make this happen! Thank you to all our supporters and for supporting wildlife! Cougs really do help Cougs (And bears)!!

Please follow and share us on social media!

And as always, GO COUGS!
