Help Unite Our Family
As some of you may or may not know, my family suffered a tremendous loss when our youngest son Elijah passed away suddenly in September 2015. Elijah was only 98 days old. Since then my family has struggled emotionally and financially. Our hearts have been breaking and I personally am struggling with depression and post traumatic stress.
Earlier this year I sent my husband to Shreveport (which is an hour away from where my children and I are staying) to pursue his MMA career and to find work.
I am happy to announce that he is doing both succesfully and now has a job that would be able to support our family living together in Shreveport...if we can figure out a way to afford the move.
Help Us Move The Bus!
We bought a bus earlier this year to convert into a tiny home. It was a huge purchase for us, but one that ended an almost 2 year streak of being homeless. We are very happy with bus life!
Right now the bus is parked in my dad's back yard and my sons and I are utilizing my dad's kitchen and bathroom when needed.
We are very blessed that my dad is helping us, and we could not be more thankful.
However, my children need to see their father more than once a week, and my mental health would be in a much better place if I didn't have the added anxiety of being away from my husband everyday. I miss him so much and just want us all to be back together again.
THE BUS IS STUCK
SO Why can't we move the bus?
Well, first it is stuck. Literally. When we moved it into my dad's yard a tire came off the rim, and we have not been able to afford to get it fixed.
The bus also needs a second battery.
ALSO, we have not completed the conversion process that will enable us to get the insurance and license we need to move it.
WHERE THE MONEY WILL GO!!!
In order for the bus to pass as an RV conversion and allow us to move it, it needs a functional kitchen and bathroom. Right now we have neither.
We need money for:
A possible tire replacement.
A new battery.
Water tanks and installation of water tanks.
Air Conditioning
Insulation
Building supplies
RV Fridge/Oven
RV Shower
Rv Toilet.
Tools
We have layed floor down, so we are okay there.
If you do not wish to help financially via Go Fund Me, there are other ways you can help!!!
I have created an Amazon Wish List that you can purchase items from and have them shipped to us directly. I am still working on this list, because we have a lot to learn as we continue to "build" our home in the bus.
This list can be found here: Amazon Wish List
Also, If you know anything about fixing tires and have a jack that can lift a school bus, you are welcome to come by and help us with the tire. I will even bake you some cookies!
OR we could use gift cards to places like Home Depot or Lowes and you can mail those to:

OR email gift cards to: [email redacted]
Any help is greatly appreciated!!! Just help me and my family unite. I miss my husband!!! (and the kids miss their dad)
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I would love to have the bus finished and ready to move by the end of August.
When we get it all finished and ready to move, we will have one awesome cook out and invite everyone who helped out. We really appreciate all the love and support that has been given to our family. You guys are so amazing and I want you to know that. Thank you.
