HempHill Heals Wellness Retreat
Donation protected
I am an Epileptic that has PTSD and (TBI) Traumatic Brain Injury. I also am an activist and a medical marijuana refugee trying to also help other people.
This is not for cannabis distribution or a dispensary. This is for land for potential affordable lodging. It will be in a legal state with access to dispensaries and consultants. Before I can make the complete business plan I have to have some land to start building on. This is for that land.
update:
{{{Caregiver S here: We appreciate the advice and we have thick enough skin to take the advice how ever it is presented. Yes, she is working on more details to the plan and I can understand anyone not wanting to donate even $1 to something they feel they don't have enough knowledge of, but she can answer anyones questions at any time. I have not seen any questions. There will be so many more details to what this business will be. But the actual business plan is "Affordable lodging for people who seek treatment with cannabis and education about cannabis." We will be able to provide connections to cannabis consultants and clubs. We will also grow onsite. She cannot grow now as she lives in an RV on the road. She will not be a dispensary but there will be products that she will donate to the guests when edibles and oils are made. She will want to provide an all inclusive free cannabis infused dinner as much as possible. And let me be clear about how money will always be used. It first goes into a savings account until goals are met. Then when she has the business, ALL money made goes back into the business to keep lodging costs low for the guests. You're right, she should decide whether she wants to be considered a non profit or not but she won't need profit, she needs medicine which she will grow. There will be no need for her to make a profit. She just needs medicine and a place to produce it and then she wants to share that miracle with others. She is working on all the issues suggested. Thank you everyone.}}}}
Having endured Epilepsy for the past 30 years of my life while living in a state with strict drug laws. I was predestined for an ill-fated life if I continued letting the doctors treat me like a guinea pig. My path already proved risky from past experiences with the toll big pharma had taken on me, and my overall wellbeing while they experimented with one failed drug after another. I decided to leave Indiana after seeing so many of my friends and loved ones arrested for unjust cannabis laws. The laws made it extremely stressful and nerve wracking to be a medical cannabis patient where my medicine which eased much of the pain I suffered from falls during seizures while also nearly preventing future seizures could also land me in jail at any time.
Coming from such an oppressive state to Cannabis friendlier lands is such a shock, especially from having to operate on the black market and in the cloak of darkness to towns and cities where it is sold on every corner evokes a number of emotions for me including: relief, anger, happiness & melancholy but it always ends with me balling my eyes out for the lives destroyed and lost by the hand of the failed and misguided marijuana drug war.
Getting familiar with all the laws of the land, whether it is the state or local, can be somewhat daunting. Finding housing was impossible being disabled and on SSI. Not knowing anyone in the area, denied entry to some of the areas shelters due to being full and not being addicted to any substances. One shelter I was able to go to was not a suitable environment for people with forms of Photosensitive epilepsy and severe PTSD. There were too many seizure triggers from lights, noise and just stress inducing people. I resorted to living in a car while housing applications came back as “needs a cosigner” I did not have. Not that I could have afforded an apartment and medication together let alone the rest of the bills added to that on how little they will give a disabled person to survive.
Eventually having seizures in the car and not having access to things like bathrooms became too much, I traded the car for an old RV. Once I figured out a game plan with the living situation I got into contact with a local cannabis activist and started taking Cannabis Oil. AND IT WORKS!
I want cannabis to be available to every living soul that is considered to have uncontrollable seizures like myself. I want them to first try the safer option of medical cannabis before being put into human experiments the medical establishment and their pharmaceuticals the doctors have been pushing down my throat for the past 30 plus years.
I am starting a GoFundMe to purchase land in either Northern Oregon or Southern Washington along the coastal area. I want to create Hemphill Heals Wellness Retreat which would be for those living with conditions like Epilepsy and Cancer from states that offer no medical marijuana. This would be a place where they can gain access to the cannabis oils, connect with cannabis consultants and medical marijuana workshops where folks can learn to make their own cannabis products: Oils; Tinctures; Edibles etc. It will be a safe haven of healing for cannabis patients, regardless if they decide to make the move or just visit. Help me help others while finally putting an end to the propaganda from certain states and the federal government. Cannabis is medicine.
