Help Henry K Kick Cancer

Donation protected
Over the last 60 years, Henry Kuhn has touched the lives of many people. Some of you may know him from his over 30 years at Con Edison, where he tirelessly worked 16 hour shifts as an emergency utility worker down at Ground Zero in the immediate aftermath of 9/11. Others may know him as Henry K of The Real Radio Show where he has helped thousands of independent artists get their name out and make their career. But most importantly, he is a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Unfortunately, on 2/7/16, the evening of Super Bowl Sunday, he slipped in black ice and injured his hip. This, however, may have been a blessing in disguise because after 3 weeks of trying to tough it out, including even co-hosting a show (he insisted the show must go on), he went in on 3/2/16 for X-rays which revealed an acetabular hip fracture. While we thought this was going to be rough, after being admitted to the hospital that night, we were greeted with the news the following morning, that they would not be performing surgery, as they found a mass on his lung. Worse still, it appears to have metastasized into several bones and his liver, as well.

As the cancer is pretty advanced and the fracture necessitates 3 months of bed rest, treatment is going to be long, arduous and expensive. Without insurance, this is all but an impossibility. However, we have faith that with the right treatment and nutritional support that it is not too late to turn it around.

The funds are going to go directly towards the treatment of Henry K to get him back on his feet.

We thank you in advance for your time and consideration and greatly appreciate any assistance.
