Our Miracle Baby, Our Prince, the love of our lives
Henry Richard Baez Jr. was born in Orange County, New York on October 1, 2014 weighing in at a healthy 8 lbs 5.5 oz. He is a huge blessing to our family, a Precious Gift from God. He is such a loving, happy, growing baby boy. On February 20, 2015, the Ophthalmologist diagnosed Henry with Retinal detachment and refered urgently to see a retinoblastoma specialist. On February 23, 2015, doctors diagnosed him with a rare type of eye cancer known as Retinoblastoma. They found a large tumor, Stage D, located in the back of his right eye and thankfully the cancer is contained within the tumor. He was scheduled for his first Intra/Retinol Arterial Chemotherapy treatment on February 24, 2015, to shrink the tumor. He is under the care of an amazing doctor, Dr. Carol Shields, Associate Director and Attending Surgeon on the Oncular Oncology Service at Wills Eye Institute in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Shields commented, "Stay confident and positive because he is going to be okay. My plan is to save his life, his eye and some vision." Doctors are estimating 3 treatments each month (every 4 weeks).
His parents, Nicole and Henry Baez will be commuting back and forth from New York to Philadelphia for treatments and care. They were extremely devastated and heartbroken at this news of their son's diagnosis but will remain positive and faithful, confident that their beautiful baby boy is the healed of the Lord and fully recovered in the Name of Jesus. God has blessed our family with an abundance of love and support and now I am extending my heartfelt request for help to raise funds to contribute to his treatments and other associated costs such as travel and stay that can help the Baez family. Any donation, big or small, makes a difference and would mean the world to our family and Baby Henry. If you are unable to contribute, please extend the word to as many people as possible and please keep him in your prayers. I THANK EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU with all my heart in advance for helping us through this challenge. We thank God for the many blessings and for providing for all their needs.
Together we can make a difference

"Jesus said, "Come to me, all you that are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Retinoblastoma is the most common eye cancer in children. *The GLOW, it could be found in children as young as two weeks old by being dilated by Ophthmologist. Please share for #awareness #retinoblastoma #rbwarrior #prayforbabyhenrybaez #helpsaveoursonslife #childhoodcancer We could help another life by re-posting. As parents Henry and I have never heard of Retinoblastoma. I wish we would have known about it before hand. We will continue to bring awareness to this disease. So blessed through the power of God to have caught this early enough to have a chance to save his Life, Eye, and Vision in the name of Jesus!
