Copay fund for Jean's Brain Mass

Donation protected
My name is Jean Halverson, and these past two weeks I have been sitting in hospital beds in the neurology/oncology wards at either Zale Lipshy in Dallas, or Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.

Monday, October 12th, I had an epileptic seizure, out of the blue. And at the age of 49, I am facing mounting bills, and I have no idea what lies ahead.
Monday, October 20th, 2015, was the day that the mass which was found in scans to be residing in the vision center of my brain was to be excized  and sent to pathology for cancer testing. My HMO insurance, which pays for bed, food, and medicine, not to mention the myriad of testing, will not pay for the surgery. I don't know where they will ship me next.

I have 8 adult children, and between them they have 12 grandchildren whom I would love to see grow up, and accomplish the things I may never have the opportunity to now.

I have been a student  with a very moderate income for the express purpose of continuing my education into the teaching field. I'd like to finish my education, and start a translation company. I'd like to provide decent educational opportunities for all my family. I'd like to ride my bike one more time, and go mountain hiking with my family one more time. I'd like to learn to speak more languages (I speak four). I'd like to  translate books, start a translation company, and write a novel. I'd like to start an NGO to house the unhousable.

It's simply amazing just how quickly dreams can evaporate into such thin air.
