Hike 4 A Girl Child

Tax deductible
Am going to hike Mt Rwenzori on 5th-7th of July as am raising money to help girls in Uganda to stay in school during their periods! You want to join me in making a difference? You can join me by donating to this campaign so that i can reach my goal or by sharing my campaign to reach more people.  Please

Shatter the shame around menstruation in Uganda, Africa by helping us get funding for female hygiene products!

Currently, many girls in Uganda miss from four to eight days of school every month due to the lack of menstrual hygiene products. Our initiative is to buy and distribute re-usable pads (AFRipads) and this  will help alleviate this problem for 610 adolescent school girls by the end of 2019. Our goal is to raise $3,500 by  8th July, 2019

Girls suffer ridicule, embarrassment and shame if they attend classes when they have their periods. Because of the high rate of absenteeism due to their periods, girls tend to fall hopelessly behind in their classwork and eventually drop out of school. Once that happens their life choices become limited, if not non-existent.

100% of your donation will go to support women and girls in Uganda to stay in school and attain the education that every girl, everywhere has the right to receive. Period!

Each girl will receive a kit includes 4 kits of pad, , one plastic bag to keep in the pads, one and one bar of soap and one pair of underwear. They are re-usable for up to one year. These items are scarce and expensive in Uganda.

All they need is a chance. Let us give them hope, a future, let them stay in school, let us hold hands and donate towards the ‘Ensonga Project!

Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
