2016 Uniterra International Seminar

My name is Amy Harrington and I am in my second year of a Bsc (Agr) with a major in Animal Science. I have been selected through Uniterra to participate in an International Seminar for 6 weeks this summer in Arusha, Tanzania.
30 student-leaders from Canada and Tanzania will explore how agricultural systems support economic development and global food security, while looking at how technology and markets can create a sustainable food future for the planet. Participants will work with local businesses, farmers’ groups, NGOs, universities and colleges as they reflect on the specific role that young people play in food and agriculture in Tanzania and globally.
In order to participate in this amazing experience I have to meet a fundraising goal of $3000 to help cover flight costs, meals and housing for my 6 week stay.

It would mean so much to have your support in this once in a lifetime experience.
