Hold Em Up 4 Care

Hello my name is Tiffany. I am apart of PLTI of Kansas City supported by Turn The Page KC. I am hosting Hold Em Up 4 Care Bra Drive. The purpose of my event is to provide inner city school age girls with proper breast education. All girls that come to the event will learn how to do a self-breast exam the correct way taught by experts. Every girl will be measured and fitted for a bra by experts as well. The idea is for each girl to leave the event with a gift bag including two bras for themselves and/or a voucher to purchase the bras. At the end of the event each girl will have new or gently used bras that will boost their confidence. It will build their self esteem and give them a lifetime of education materials that will help them build a start to a healthy lifestyle by having the proper breast and back support. They will know how to identify a lump in their breast which is important. It can detect a problem early and can possibly save their life. It will give them the proper support which can alleviate back problems in the future. Bras can be costly for a lot of different reasons. The funds will be for the purchasing of bras, gift bags, venue fees, and entertainment. I would love the support of the community being these girls are a major part of our future. I am accepting donations of bras (new or gently used) and monetary gifts as well. Overall I will accomplish a fun, educational, informative, life altering event for school age girls in the inner city of Kansas City, MO.
