Holly Chenal's Memorial Fund

This page was produced to assist the Chenal family of Toms River, NJ in coping with the loss of our friend and beloved mother of four, Holly Chenal, who died Jan 24, 2017.
During a weekend family snowboarding trip, although Holly was wearing a helmet, a simple backward fall caused a severe head injury. After being rushed to a nearby hospital in Glen Falls, she was subsequently helivaced to the Albany Medical Center where she was attended to by a team of neurologists. Despite these expert efforts, she never regained consciousness.
Holly's husband Steve, and her 4 children (Jenn, Jessy, Nate and Cooper) were with her at Gore Mountain at the time of the accident.
This fund is established to provide needed assistance for extensive medical bills and family expenses related to the accident, funeral bills and for college funds for Nate (age 12) and Cooper (age 10).
All those who knew Holly understood what an extraordinary individual and role model she was for her family, the neighborhood, and the greater Toms River community. The kindness, consideration, affection, helpfulness, deep spirit and good humor she showed to all, endeared her, without exception, to everyone.
