Help Hollyn Fight Brain Cancer!

 Hollyn Newsom, age 19, from Valliant, Oklahoma, needs help! Hollyn had surgery June 26, 2016 to remove a 5 cm mass from her brain. The doctor removed all but 1 cm of the mass, leaving 1 cm so her speech wouldn’t be affected. Test results show it is Glioma grade IV cancer.

  Hollyn spent 6 days in the hospital in Texarkana, TX for her surgery. She will be traveling to Dana-Faber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts on Sunday, August 7, 2016, along with her fiancé (my brother), Drew, and her mom, Tara, to meet with doctors on Monday, August 8th. We do not know how long her treatments in Boston will last, how long she will need to be there or how many trips back and forth will be needed.

  Drew and Tara have taken off work to be with Hollyn for as long as she needs them. Her family has enough to worry about and I am trying to raise money to lift some of their worries as we all help Hollyn through this battle.
