Homeless Women Research Project
Donation protected
Friends and Family: This semester I am working on a research project that raises awareness of female reproductive health among homeless women in the Charleston metropolitan area. A group of public health students and I will be designing a survey questionnaire that will be distributed to homeless women at a local soup kitchen that provides homeless people with a meal every Sunday. As an incentive for women to complete this survey questionnaire we will be providing them with free tampons, pads, and baby wipes. I am reaching out in an effort to fundraise money to purchase these supplies to distribute to the women who complete this survey. Being homeless has enough challenges of its own, but being homeless and a woman provides added stress on these individuals due to the cost of female hygiene products. I have attached a link to a gofund me for access to provide a donation. Every little bit helps!
