Safe Xmas for the homeless in hotel

We are hoping to repeat the success of last Xmas when we was able to take 28 peolpe off the freezing streets and put them safely into a hotel for 2 nights.
For someone on the street Xmas is a lonely time when people reflect on what they have lost.
There are more suicides during this time than any other.

Last year we managed to break that trend and took everyone off the streets of Hull and gave them something to look forward to.

After the stay those that stayed were so grateful some left staff gifts of the very little they had, and one asked if he could vacuum the rooms to show his appreciation.

We had long time rough skeepers change their mind about sleeping on the street and looked at supported accommodation, and we had no deaths on the streets over Xmas.hank you on behalf of Raise the roof.

Donations collected by Carl Simpson of Hull through this campaign will be transferred to raise the roofs comunicom bank account then used to pay for hotel accommodation and also clothing and gifts if we reach our target.
