Home 4 Catherine, Richard & Newborn

HOMELESS ON THE STREETS OF VENICE AND BABY'S COMING ANY DAY NOW! Catherine and Richard are veterans and have been homeless in Venice for three years, alternating between Grand Avenue and the Venice Boardwalk. Last night they rushed out of their tent and headed for the hospital emergency room thinking that Catherine was ready to deliver their baby. It was Mother's Day, and a notable time to give birth, however the couple was nervous at the reality of bringing their newborn back to a tent! False alarm (this time), but any day now they will be making the trek to the hospital again.
The couple has tried to prepare for the delivery by selling their home-made art on the Boardwalk, but the few bucks they make offers little stability. They also have two dogs, which lessens the possiblity of acquiring housing. "We tried all the agencies including the VA, but no one had a place for us to live. We feel so desperate, and don't have a clue what to do!"
The Homeless Task Force non-profit public charity, operated by Chaplains Steven and Regina Weller, recently came across a trailer for the couple and a rental space for it outside the area- now all that is needed is funding for:
1. The trailer - $4,200
2. Transport fees for the trailer
3. 1st and last month's rental space fees
4. And of course: bottles, diapers, blankets, and baby clothes, etc. for their precious newborn!
DONATIONS OF ANY AMOUNT ARE WELCOME!
PLEASE HELP US BE SWIFT TO ASSIST CATHERINE AND RICHARD WELCOME THEIR PRECIOUS CHILD INTO THE WORLD WITH A PLACE CALLED "HOME."
