Honoring West Point Cadet Christopher Morgan

On June 6, 2019, our beloved Christopher J. Morgan (affectionately known as CJ or Chicago) was killed in a tragic accident when the military vehicle he was in rolled over. In his 22 years of life, Chris left an indelible mark on every person he met with his bright smile and compassionate heart. CJ was a highly accomplished student and athlete; he was captain of both the varsity football and wrestling teams at West Orange High School (class of 2015). CJ set many records while wrestling at West Orange High School and is regarded as one of the greatest wrestlers in school history. He then went on to live out his dream of studying and wrestling at the prestigious West Point U.S. Military Academy. CJ was pursuing a degree in law and legal studies and was set to graduate in the spring of 2020.

In addition to his many personal achievements, Chris was a loyal and loving son, brother, friend, student, and teammate. Many can attest to his undeniably infectious personality and warm spirit. He certainly left his mark on every community of which he was a part, and he will be missed by so many.

As CJ’s loved ones mourn this painful loss, we are asking that you join us in supporting his parents and three younger siblings. All proceeds will assist his immediate family with their financial needs during this difficult time. We are certain that CJ’s spirit and legacy will live on. He showed us all what it means to love wholeheartedly and to live life to the fullest. We will cherish the memories he has left us with forever. We love you, Chris.
