Hi! My name is Hope Hamon and Im applying with YFU (Youth For Understanding) to study abroad in South Korea. Im currently in 11th grade and live in a normal household with my younger brother and working mother.
Though we aren't as 'privileged' to have the luxury to afford many things, let alone this program, I signed up in hopes of receiving a chance to have some experience in my dreams of becoming an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher come true in the near furture.
Im trying to get part time job as well to help save up for the money I will need for things like uniforms, school supplies such as books and activities, daily and monthly necessities, and etc.
Upon my arrival back from the program I want to do a presentation in my school and/or community to share my experiences and the many things I learned.
