We find ourselves asking for help for Dee Dee's much needed eye surgery.
Dee Dee has already completely lost her eyesight in one eye; however, with surgery, doctors are optimistic about saving the other eye and they believe her eyesight can at least be partially restored.
Although they are calling it a "heroic surgery" we have high hopes that she'll be able to get some of her sight back.
The surgery would help give Dee Dee back at least a portion of her vision and help her to lead a life with partial vision.
We have faith that one day she'll be able to get some of her abilities and independence back.
