House fire mother of 7 children
Donation protected
Athena Pollard is in the healthcare field who has helped many families in the Cincinnati area. She is a mother of 7 children ages 21-4. Last Thursday there was an electrical fire that destroyed everything in her home. Athena’s oldest son who was there caring for his 4- year-old sister who has autism was able to get all of siblings out of the house safely. Some of the kids were carried out and some running out of the house with no shoes or clothes on, that rainy day.
Some kids would be worried about play stations, Nike’s, X-Box’s etc.… but these kids attitudes are so full of gratefulness of being together and alive it just makes me humble myself. I’ve never seen anything like it. Athena’s insurance had lapsed and she has no money to get her kids clothes and shelter. All the shelters in the Cincinnati area are full. Athena is one of the most caring and giving persons that I know. She always puts her kids first. I’ve never seen her shop for herself, it’s always been about her children. Today it still is about her children she just wants to be able to put a roof back over their heads
The family really needs a miracle right now and your help is greatly appreciated.
