In Ibro name

My name is Kassahun Yilma, I’m from Ethiopia, I live in Austin, Texas. Ibrahim Shafi was my best friend, my fellow countryman, my colleague.  He has died after long illness. His loss was devastating to our community. Because Journalist Ibrahim Shafi never loved himself like he loved his people and his country.
He was arrested & tortured in Shewa Robit just because of that. The rupture on his knee forced him to walk with a limp.
That pain & trauma never stopped him from having outspoken personality.
The government plot to prosecute the magazine he’s been working forced  him to leave his beloved country.
That also never stopped him from writing his opinions against tyranny. He has written many political, social & sport opinions using social media platform.
He was doing that even on his death bed, writing ✍️. Life in exile, death in exile.
We lost this passionate Ethiopian. What can we do for him now? To relieve our pain I politely beg you to help his mom, Keyriya Jemal Hassen . Let her know Ibro has lovers, people who really care & value him.
