Hungry Cobber Drought Relief
Donation protected
We're helping the Jerry family's drought affected farm near Coonabarabran in central NSW as the battle the worst drought on record, to keep their animals alive.
It's been 1 year since Channel 10's "The Project" first showed you the dreadful impact that the drought was having on Greg Jerry's family, including his 79 year old mother Coral. You can see that story here.
Sadly, things have only gotten worse since then and the situation on the farm is desperate, with the Jerry's going deeper into debt as they fork out about $15,000 each month to keep their stock alive. These people are not rich - they are salt of the earth hard working Aussies who will do anything to keep their animals from suffering, and it's costing them everything they have, and more.
The Hungry Cobber Drought Relief drive is run by family friends of the Jerry's and money raised goes directly to Greg Jerry to cover the operating expenses of the farm.
Thank you for your support.
