Hunter Heidenreich Research Fund

Hi! My name is Hunter Heidenreich and I'm a 3rd year, computer science student at Drexel University. The focus of my education is machine learning, something that I'm extremely passionate about learning, creating, and teaching.
I am raising money to purchase hardware that I would like to use to do machine learning research. Specifically, I wish to purchase a Quad from Lambda Labs (https://lambdal.com/products/quad).
Now, you may be wondering, why do I need such a high-end machine? The reason is, for simple projects and research, the hardware I have is perfectly suitable. However, when I attempt to run larger projects that take serious computation power, I simply can't run experiments and conduct research if the algorithm has to run 24/7 for 100+ days. This is a major hinderance and barrier for me in pursuing my educational goals and dreams.
Curious about some of the things I've done in machine learning?
I have a blog where I talk about machine learning things! Check it out at http://hunterheidenreich.com/blog/
I worked for SAP Conversational AI (the recast.ai team) for 6 months as a data science intern. I did all sorts of cool, machine learn-y things there like a question and answering system. Check out their awesome platform at https://recast.ai/
I also make tutorial videos about how to do things in machine learning, like Style Transfer:
Or about what Generative Adversarial Network (GANs) are:
I'm putting up this fundraiser with the hope that from people who appreciate the content I'm trying to put together or wish to support my passion, I can raise the funds I need to get a machine that will allow me to speed up the pace at which I run experiments, produce more content, and teach more new things to people through my blog and YouTube channel (and maybe even produce a publication or two)!
