Hurricane Florence Supply Drive
Donation protected
OK guys its time to step up again!!! As we all know and see on the news, Hurricane Florence is set to be a catastrophic and historic storm taking aim on the Mid Atlantic. This storm is going to be the worst hurricane to hit the area in 60 years and could potentially be the worst storm to make landfall in US History.
Last year we were extremely successful in doing a donation drive for the victims of Hurricane Harvey in Houston. With the help of my good friend Lou Rosado Jr. and fellow Devil Dog, we organized a truck full of much needed supplies.
We know this storm is going to hit the only question now is where. We are going to proactively start collecting supplies and I will personally deliver them myself next week leaving Friday the 21st.
We need non perishable food, diapers, formula, batteries, flashlights, clothing (must be new), etc. We will also need monetary donations to cover the cost of the truck, fuel, and tolls.
The drop off point will be United Uniforms 1050 Route 47 in Rio Grande. Lou is organizing other drop off points in Atlantic/Cumberland counties
The funds raised by this campaign will go towards the travel expenses on obtaining a rental truck and fuel to get to the Carolinas. If there are any funds remaining they will be all disbursed to non profit organizations in the areas effected by this historic storm. The donations and funds will be handled by the Nam Knights of America Motorcycle Club Jersey Coast Chapter. We are a organization of Military Veterans and Law Enforcement Officers and we have a 501(c)3 non profit status.
