Hurricane Michael Contractor Relief
Donation protected
We at Mingledorff’s have started and significantly funded this campaign to raise funds to help our customers and employees of our customers who have been financially impacted by Hurricane Michael. Many of these people suffered loss of or damage to homes, cars, and personal property which they will need help to rebuild, repair or replace. Because this was a named storm, insurance deductibles are significantly higher (generally a percentage of the home value rather than a set amount) and will be a huge burden. In addition to the higher deductibles, some items such as contents or personal property may not be covered at all.
The goal of the fund is to assist with storm-related expenses not covered by insurance. Examples of the types expenses include (but are not limited to):
· Insurance Deductibles
· Damage to Uninsured Property
· Temporary Living Expenses
All of the funds raised for this campaign will go to individuals that need help, not companies or contracting businesses. Initially, fund disbursements will be capped at $1,000 per household in order to help as many as possible. If funds remain after all requests have been reviewed and funded, additional disbursements may occur to individuals whose needs exceeded the $1,000 limit. If there are any extra funds that cannot be distributed, they will be given to a charity to help fund additional relief efforts.
Please consider contributing to help the HVAC community in the Panama City area. Your generosity will be doubled as Mingledorff's has set aside $10,000 to match all contributions up to that amount.
