Hurricane Relief for Biggs Family

My name is Emily Layne. I live in Wilmington, NC. Our city and surrounding areas recently were impacted by Hurricane Florence  and the tornadoes and flooding resulting from the hurricane.

I met Erica last year at Murrayville Elementary School, where she was a teacher. (She began teaching this year at Trask Middle School.) Her daughter and my daughter were placed in the same classroom last year and became immediate BFF's.

This beautiful family has lost their home due to flooding after the hurricane. They are one of many who have experienced that loss.  They are unable to stay in their home, and are driving hours to work and school from their temporary lodging. They will be displaced until their home is rebuilt. The rebuild of their home will cost about $100,000. That doesn't include furnishings. Please help us make a dent in their many bills!
