Aysha's International Fund
Donation protected
Our daughter, Aysha (16), is an acrobatic gymnast. She trains for 20 hours a week at Oxford School of Gymnastics, based in Thame, UK.
In June, Aysha and her trio won a silver medal at the National Finals in Stoke-on-Trent, UK, becoming second best in their age group and skill set in Britain!
She has now been invited, with her new trio, to compete in the Maia International Acro Cup (MIAC) in Portugal in March, and, depending on results, in the Geneva International Acro Cup (GIAC) in Switzerland in May!
This is fantastic news (it has been her dream since she began training 8 years ago to be competing at this level!) and an amazing opportunity, but does leave us, as a low income family, worrying about how we are going to raise the funds to make it happen for her.
We are aiming to raise £2,500. We are looking at roughly £700 per competition for flights and accomodation, £300 for a Leotard (ideally two), £250 for a Competition Tracksuit, £65 for a Club Jacket, £50 for a Competition Warm-Up Leotard .. and the list goes on.
Without the help and support of friends and family and sponsors (if we can find any before March!) we will not be able to do this. We are eating, sleeping & dreaming fundraising ideas .. as many people we know are doing on our behalf!
We have set up this page to allow anyone who wishes to, to donate towards Aysha’s International Competition Fund.
We would be grateful for all the support we can get .. whether it be financial or emotional .. no amount is too small. Really.
