An Angel gone to soon DIDI Davis

On November 26, 2014 at 12:45pm, God called one of his Angels home. My mother, Deirdre Davis known by all of those that loved her as DiDi, fought long and hard against Multiple Myeloma. This cancer causes cells to accumulate in the bone marrow, where they crowd out healthy blood cells, and rather than produce helpful antibodies, the cancer cells produce abnormal proteins that can cause kidney problems and pain. Currently and throughout all of this, my mother took care and provided (spiritually, mentally, physically and financially) for my little sister Lindsey and I while sending us to college to pursue our dreams. Today I celebrate my mother’s life and legacy because she was my hero that motivates me to continue to push through these trying times. My mother’s selfless act of LOVE is why I honor her today and ask for your support to help in these trying times. God Bless all of those that LOVE and supported my mother, I love every one of you that LOVED my mother.
