My name is Brutus I am a 6 month old American Pitbull. My family rescued me from the SPCA in Monroe, CT where my sister was also rescued from. She needed someone her own size to play with because she has a lot of energy and kept dragging our little sister the pug around!
So my family decided to get me!!! I am a very lucky dog to be loved so much. My family took me to the vet for a check up and found out the reasons why I don't run like my sisters and why I cry a lot. I have severe hip dysplasia in both my hind legs with no muscles to be strong enough to run.
I will need two hip replacements by the time I turn one in May 2015. I know this will be very expensive for my family and I am asking for help to fund my operation. Can you please find it in your heart and make any kind contribution. I want so much to run and play catch the ball like other dogs.
