#imnotjustacyclist campaign
Donation protected
#imnotjustacyclist is a not-for-profit campaign that exists to humanise cyclists by creating common ground between motorists, pedestrians and cyclists through imagery and storytelling.
I have big dreams for this campaign and for peoples voices and stories to be heard.
This is an awareness, not-for-profit campaign, where I am using my photography and writing to showcase the people I meet and interview, and tell their story.
I have been so moved so far by the people I have met. Some have lost family members due to drunk drivers, others refuse to give in to fear out there on the road and continue to ride. These are the stories I am sharing and I hope will touch lives.
The donations received will be used to fund the exhibition, including some images oin the lead up to build awareness to the upcoming campaign and project.
Costs include printing the images for the exhibition, travel costs, equipments and time for me to reach people for their interviews and photoshoots.
I have been funding this myself so far, but I've hit a point where I cannot continue doing this on my own financially.
Ideally I would need some of the funds in the next couple of months so I can continue to take these photos and spread the word. At the moment everything is coming out of my own pocket and I don't have enough to continue.
Your support will mean that this message will continue to be spread and hopefully a little more peace and harmony out there on the road and respect for us as human beings. After all there is so much more to all of us than riding a bike.
Thank you so much for reading, and for donating if it's possible. This exhibition will not be possible without the help of others.
Much love,
Mel xo
