IMPACT CAMAS-WASHOUGAL 2019

11 am – 2 pm
Summer is a wonderful time to be a kid. However many in our community rely on school provided meals during the school year. Without these meals many students go hungry during the summer.
Join us on June 9th at Impact CW where we will be collecting and packing boxes of food for school families in need to help kick off their summer. This year, we hope to be helping about 200 families in the Camas-Washougal School Districts. (If your family could benefit from a summer food box, please contact your school counselor or principal.)
There are many ways you can be involved:
Donate Food on day of or before event
o Approximately $55, or less, for a full box
Help sort and package Food Boxes at the Park/Event
Assist with Free Community BBQ (or just enjoy the BBQ)
Help deliver Food Boxes to CW Schools on Monday
Give a financial gift (to pre-purchase some food)
o “Go Fund Me” here
o or checks made out to St. Matthew Lutheran Church
On Sunday, June 9th, we will meet at the Parker’s Landing Historical Park
at the Camas-Washougal Port
11 am – 2 pm - Gather food donations and Pack Boxes
Noon – Free Community BBQ along with a
o “Concert in the Park by the Camas-Washougal Community Orchestra
If you need to drop off food prior to June 9th (please no early perishables), please deliver it
to: St. Matthew Lutheran Church at 716 Washougal River Road, Washougal, WA
Tuesday — Friday, 9:30 - 1:00
