Donate to MMC/SAR in David's memory
Donation protected
On April 7, 2018 David Kim went missing. It is with heavy hearts that we acknowledge he will not be found alive.
David lived life fully and loved the Terrace area greatly. He spent most of his spare time exploring the rivers and mountains that make this place so incredible. Whether it was backcountry skiing and telemarking at his favourite ski hill, Shames Mountain or if he was exploring rivers and the ocean by kayak – he loved being in the outdoors.
In his memory, Catharine White, David’s partner of 22 years, has committed to making a substantial donation to My Mountain Co-op and Terrace Search and Rescue in the coming weeks. This fundraising campaign has been established to raise much needed funds for these two organizations in David’s name that will be donated along with Catharine’s contribution.
Friends and family are invited to donate however little or much they would like to this campaign, which will wrap up on May 15, 2018.
Catharine wishes to express her gratitude to everyone who sent her love, support, and well wishes. She is extremely grateful to the people and organizations who provided resources and time in the search for David.
This is being collected on behalf of Catharine White and will be directly donated to MMC and SAR, 50/50 once the campaign ends. Kasia Kistowska is the collector, lives in Smithers BC currently, and is a fellow MMC volunteer director like Catharine.
