In Loving Memory of Shayne Young
My loving father Shayne Young passed away unexpectedly on February 27th, 2017. Shayne was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend and he always had a special spot in his heart for his pets. Anyone who knew him knew the love he had for everyone around him and the joy he felt when spending time with family and friends at Bear Republic Brewery for lunch. He would not think twice before lending a helping hand to anyone in need. Shayne spent his life as a hard worker, always providing for his family. He moved his family to Sonoma County in 2000 to offer a better life than he had known growing up. Shayne never lost sight of his determination to make this a reality. When the Spring of 2015 came Shayne and his family were effected by the rising rental costs in Sonoma County. He lost his home and struggled to find another. Shayne was able to find something temporarily, until he was informed that his position at work would no longer be existent. Shayne wanted to follow his dream of owning a home with his wife and pets; however, that did not seem achievable in California. Shayne and his wife waited months to get their approval for their house and to begin living their dream. They bought a house in Nebraska and moved in the Summer of 2016. Shayne was unable to live his dream for very long and to be able to see the house and yard set up in the way he had hoped for his entire life. Shayne was unable to take care of some of his bills before his unexpected passing and I know he would do anything in his control to make sure his dream house with my mother would not be lost. I am starting this campaign in hopes to help with costs of his services and to ensure that the dream house he worked so hard for in his life does not get lost in the process of everything.
