In memory of Alejandro

Many of you have been following this story.
But for those of you who haven’t , My dad, Alejandro was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s about 3 years ago. As his condition started progressing, he started forgetting who we were, who he was, and lost most of his ability to speak. On September 1st he walked out of the house and became disoriented, confused, and scared for about 5 hours ... he was later found at 9:45pm , after he was hit by a car. He was in the hospital for about 3 weeks, in a lot of pain, and On September 25th at 2:35pm he gave his last breath. He was an amazing father and a loving husband. He worked very hard all his life to take care of his family and to watch him lose his life this way is very unfair. All money raised will go to his funeral, and any money left over will be given to an Alzheimer’s Foundation. Muchos de ustedes han estado siguiendo esta historia. Peropara aquellos de ustedes que no lo han hecho, a mi padre, a Alejandro le diagnosticaron Alzheimer hace unos 3 años. A medida que su condición comenzó a progresar, comenzó a olvidar quiénes éramos, quién era y perdió la mayor parte de su capacidad para hablar. El 1 de septiembre salió de la casa y se desorientó, confundió y atemorizó durante aproximadamente 5 horas ... luego lo encontraron a las 9:45 p.m., después de que fue atropellado por un automóvil. Estuvo en el hospital durante aproximadamente 3 semanas, con mucho dolor, y el 25 de septiembre a las 2:35 pm dio su último aliento. Él era un padre increíble y un esposo amoroso. Trabajó muy duro toda su vida para cuidar de su familia y verlo perder su vida de esta manera es muy injusto. Todo el dinero recaudado se destinará a su funeral, y el dinero sobrante se lo vamos a donar a la Alzheimer's Foundation.
