In Memory of Anthony Lewis Jr

It's Monday morning, and like most people the hardest day of the week. I checked my phone to see that I had recieved a text from Michelle Lewis. She asked me to call her when I could and that it was important. So, waiting to wake up at 6:30 am I gave her a call. With a somewhat groggy voice I asked her "what's up?". I can remember the hesitation in her voice when she told me Anthony died. I couldn't believe it. He's only two years older than me, and he has three kids. He can't be dead. The words " I lost my best friend" are still with me. It has been suggested that Anthony suffered from a major heart attack. Michelle has been working to support their family on her own for the last three years, and Anthony had just found a temporary job the week before his death. I never thought I would be creating an account to support a friend and her children after losing her best friend, husband, and father of her children. I'm still in shock and I can't imagine what it must be like for her. The day is long, and the phone keeps ringing. So much has to be planned and at our age it doesn't seem real.

I am horrible at asking for help, but I am more than willing to ask for my friend. Funeral arrangements are being made, but I am not sure how much something like that costs. I would ask that if you can, please donate. Any donation at all to help keep Michelle's family afloat so she can take time off work to figure this whole process out would be very much appreciated. I know that financially, this would help ease her mind. They are planning a burial service. I know that cremation services are still expensive so again, if you could, any donation would be appreciated. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. Michelle and the kids are taking it as well as could be expected.
