Keith M. Cupp, a Hero to many passed away unexpectedly Sunday July 22, 2018 at age 35. Keith will be remembered for his many accomplishments including winning back to back 152-pound Division II titles for Hamilton Township at the 2000 and 2001 Ohio High School State Wrestling Championships, ending his high school career with a record of 82-0. Continuing his wrestling career at Cumberland University, Cupp won the 174-pound title at the 2005 NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) National Wrestling Championships. The University’s first National Championship, bringing them “from worst to first” Cumberland featured Keith in an article on July 24, 2018. Keith leaves behind his daughter Lennon Cupp (mother Heather Grosser and her son Xander Angelos) his son Jackson Cupp (mother Brittney Vanorman), his mother Donna Lewis, his father Michael Cupp, his only brother Cody Cupp, and his sisters Carmen Cupp, Courtney Cupp, Kelli Cupp, and Katy Cupp, his grandparents Janice and Keith Cupp, many nieces and nephews who adored him, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by sister Christan Cupp.
Keith’s memorial service will be held on Saturday August 18, 2018 at: Obetz Church of the Nazarene, 4101 Groveport Rd. Columbus, Ohio 43207. Visitation begins at 1:00 pm. Services will begin at 2:00 pm. Refreshments will be available directly after service.
