In Memory of Melvontae Anderson
Donation protected
On November 8th, 2018, Melvontae Anderson passed away due to epilepsy from lack of consistent and reliable health care in Texas, but that is not the full story because to know him is to LOVE him.
He was Cali born but Texas bred.
He was intelligent.
He was a son, a brother, an uncle, a nephew, a grandson, a cousin.
Just from his greeting he could make you laugh. Somehow his jokes were quicker than his smile. By no means was he shy, and that includes trying to out-sing whoever was on the TV or radio. He loved his sister, his mother, his nieces and nephew beyond measure. He was kind. He loved to have intellectual conversations about politics, spirituality what is and what was. He had an endless supply of cousins who just couldn’t wait until he showed up because that’s when the fun would really start. He even once entertained his Aunt Meme with talks of all 7 Harry Potter books, and not even his mother would suffer through that. His heart was big enough to love kids that were not his own and raise them as his. He lived without regrets.
He was only twenty-four, but to know him is to love him. He is loved by his family, and he will be severely missed. Our only comfort is knowing he is probably trying to out-sing the angels.
We would appreciate any donations to give him a proper homegoing.
Thank you from the family of Melvontae Anderson.
