In Memory of Steve
Donation protected
My wonderful friend Dalene tragically lost her husband, Steve, yesterday evening.
Steve was cycling in Buckhurst Hill to work at 3:30am and was hit by a driver of a minibus or van. The driver did not stop and Steve suffered major head trauma. He was taken to The Royal London hospital where medics battled to save him but Steve unfortunately passed away.
Dalene and Steve have a wonderful, bright and artistic son, Jonathan, who has just turned 10. This little boy is now left without his dad and Dalene without her husband.
Dalene is South African but has lived in the UK for the past 30 odd years. Her family are based in South Africa and Australia and are trying their hardest to get to the UK to support their sister and nephew at this sad time.
I am fundraising for Dalene, Jonathan and Steve's family to help with the forthcoming expenses and to try and ease the financial worries so this family can concentrate on being together and healing.
Any donation you can spare would be most appreciated.
