Veronica Russell of Snoqualmie passed away peacefully Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Overlake Hospital in Bellevue.
Survivors include her loving husband, Wayne Russell; children, Catharine Pirozek, Anthony Russell and Joseph Russell; siblings, Dennis Young, Catharine Herbold, Cecelia Gardner, Michell Welch and Marian Young; 11 grandchildren, one great grandchild with one more great grandchild on the way.
A funeral service will be held at 11am, Monday, June 10, 2019 at Raging River Community Church in Preston, WA. A graveside committal will follow at Fall City Cemetery.
We will be collecting donations that we plan to use funds to design a simple memorial (e.g. a plaque or bench in Skagit Valley by Tulip fields) to celebrate her life and leave a lasting mark in the Skagit Valley where so much of her early life was spent. If this is not possible, we would donate funds to one of her favorite charities.
We will inform everyone who donates about plans as we finalize them.
