Independent for Newtown & St Leonard's
Donation protected
I have decided to stand as an independent candidate for Newtown and St Leonard's city elections. Standing as an independent means that I have no party funding or resources to draw on and I help that you will help me.
Campaigning to save Clifton Hill gave me an insight into the true state of Exeter city politics. Like many in our ward, I feel let down by the Labour councillors for whom I would usually vote.
I’m therefore standing as an Independent candidate so that I can continue to campaign to save Clifton Hill, influencing debate during any further negotiations. If all else fails, I will honestly and passionately represent Newtown and St Leonard’s residents during the planning process. I’ll also work to challenge plans for the proposed city-wide closure and sale of parks and green spaces.
Money raised will be spent on campaign literature in the form of posters and leaflets.
I am pleased that these will be printed in Exeter by an eco-friendly printing company. Please see the posters and leaflets below.
For donations over £50 I'm required to record details, including information about the donor to the electoral commission. These may then be published.
