Inge Perkins Scholarship Fund

Inge Perkins, 23, was a beloved and accomplished mountain athlete.  She was taken by an avalanche on 7 October 2017. Her death left a void in the lives of her family, friends, and the outdoor community at large. Yet the memory of Inge's life, as a daughter, friend, and athlete, continues to inspire and spread love.

Help us to celebrate Inge's life by contributing to the Inge Perkins Scholarship Fund.

The Inge Perkins Scholarship was established to celebrate the life and inspiration of Inge by providing financial assistance to a young female rock climber living in the greater Gallatin Valley.

The scholarship seeks to provide an aspiring, young female climber with opportunities to gain confidence through the physical, mental, and emotional growth that climbing nurtures. The goal is to develop not just stronger climbers, but community-minded volunteers and future mentors to inspire others.

For a limited time donations will be matched.  While several family friends, kindred businesses and Inge’s sponsors have conspired to provide initial funding, an anonymous donor has offered to match (as in DOUBLE!) the first $10,000 dollars raised. Donate today and be a part of this scholarship honoring Inge's generous and adventurous spirit.
