Low Vision, High Hopes

My name is Sabrina. Currently, I work part-time as a floral clerk in my local grocery store. But I am also legally blind and so, at work, I struggle with being as helpful to both customers and coworkers as I'd like. I also struggle with some things in my daily life that keep me from being as independent as I'd like and able to explore the hobbies I enjoy more.
Recently, I started exploring possible alternatives to the devices that I've been using up until now because while they're effective in some things, they're also fairly limited and aren't good for jumping between tasks. This is especially troublesome at work because mine is the only true grocery store serving several neighborhoods and there's a lot of foot traffic. I finally found a promising candidate in the IrisVision .
I've been following information on this device for months now, researched and watched reviews demonstrating the features, and even tested a similar but less feature-complete device at my job and I'm positive that this has just what I need. But it's far out of my budget and so I'm asking for help here.
Despite my vision still being so bad, I'm still a very visual person. I want to be able to sit back from the TV and still know what's happening, learn to do proper digital art on the computer, see the options in my video editing software. I'd love to be able to see my youngest cousin when she gets her diploma later this month, to be able to see the settings on my dryer, tell a customer the price of their flowers by sight like most other people, and not need to bring my face so close to a task that I can't see what's happening around me.
Any support that I could get here would get me closer to that level of independence. I don't think I have the proper words for how grateful that would make me. That you took the time to listen to my story and support my dream.
